INFORMATION SESSION ON THE PROGRESS OF THE SWIMMING POOL AND SURROUNDING AREA RENOVATION WORKS
Dear members,
The rehabilitation works on the pool, which have been underway since the beginning of October, are now well underway and visible. It has been over a month and a half, and we are gradually getting used to living with the works and their impacts.
We are grateful for the patience and understanding that everyone has shown. As we previously informed you, the pool is expected to be inaugurated around Saint John’s Day. There has been significant preparatory work completed before the start of the construction, which we would like to share with you, such as the selection of architects, the bidding process for construction companies, and the awarded contracts. We also want to outline the future schedule. We understand that a large project like this generates interest among our members and may raise questions, so we believe it is important to explain the progress of the project.
For this reason, we have organized an informational session for all members, focused specifically on the works. The session will take place on WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 4TH, AT 7:30 PM in the restaurant dining area. We also plan to hold similar sessions in February and a final session in May to continue updating you on the progress of the works. The sessions will be attended by members of the Board of Directors responsible for overseeing the project, the club’s manager, and the architects who designed the project and are currently leading the construction.

THE LAIESPLAI CHRISTMAS CAMP IS GETTING CLOSER!
Christmas is approaching, and children have a unique opportunity to have a great time at the Laiesplai Christmas Camp.
In December, on the 23rd, 24th, 27th, 30th, and 31st, and in January, on the 2nd and 3rd, your little ones can enjoy the Laiesplai experience.

LEXIA SCHOOL VISITS THE LAIE!
This past Wednesday, we had the pleasure of welcoming a group of students from Lexia School to CE Laietà. These students, who are studying Administration and Management, share a great passion for sports. During the visit, they got to know our facilities up close and gain a better understanding of how the club operates.
Josep Manel Gurrera, the club’s manager, Patrícia Coma, head of marketing and communication, and Paula Boixader, sports secretary, led an engaging talk where they explained their roles and the daily operations at CE Laietà. The students had the chance to ask questions and clear up doubts, creating a valuable space for exchanging experiences.
We love sharing these visits, bringing the world of sports closer to young talents, and fostering their learning.

BASKETBALL TEAM PRESENTATION FOR THE 2024-2025 SEASON
Next Sunday, November 24th at 11:00 AM, the presentation of the basketball teams for the 2024/2025 season will take place in the Pavilion.
It will be a morning full of surprises and affection for the basketball section, one of the most cherished in our club.
FACE TO FACE WITH POL TURRÓ
Next Wednesday, December 11th at 7:30 PM, CE Laietà invites you to a very special event: “Face to Face” with Pol Turró, who will share a story of resilience and overcoming challenges that will inspire not only in the sporting field but also in life.
Under the title “Escape the Darkness,” Pol Turró will invite us to reflect on how to overcome adversity and find the strength to move forward. The talk will be hosted by Josep Gusi, Senior Basketball Coach, who will lead the event to make it engaging and enriching.
The event is open to everyone, so don’t miss the chance to enjoy this unique experience.
