We inform you that next Wednesday, January 28, technical work will be carried out on the CE Laietà IT systems in order to improve and update the technological infrastructure.
Scheduled time of the work
From 7:00 a.m. to approximately 9:30 a.m.
During this period, temporary disruptions may occur to the following services:
Internet service (expected to be operational again around 9:00 a.m.)
Telephone service
Access control systems throughout the club, including:
– Turnstiles
– Barriers
– Cameras
– Locker room and gym doors
– Restaurant access door
GPA management systems, which will also be unavailable during the intervention.

THE WOMEN’S PADEL TEAM MAINTAINS ITS PLACE IN THE TOP ABSOLUTE CATEGORY OF THE CATALONIA TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
Last weekend, the Absolute 1st Category Team Championship of Catalonia was held at X7 Indoor Pàdel Sabadell Sud, and our club was once again represented by its women’s team.
A total of 19 players travelled to compete at the highest level, once again demonstrating the commitment, fighting spirit and teamwork that define them. Despite losing the first match, the team bounced back, winning the next match and securing their place in the 1st category for another season, a huge achievement considering the level of the competition.
We would like to thank all the players for their effort, dedication and competitiveness both on and off the court, and congratulate our coach, Max Martí, for his excellent coordination, leadership and support throughout the championship.

A PERFECT WEEKEND FOR THE CLUB’S BASKETBALL SECTION
This weekend was intense and very special for the CE Laietà basketball section, with a full schedule of matches, positive feelings and, above all, great enthusiasm on the court.
On Saturday morning, the first joys came with victories by Mini A and Mini B, two teams that showed attitude, teamwork and very positive development in their play. Their constant effort was reflected both on the scoreboard and in the way they competed.
In the afternoon, the Sots-20 achieved a great victory, showing solidity, focus and maturity at key moments of the match, the result of the good work being done throughout the season.
On Sunday, the youngest players were once again in the spotlight, filling the court with energy and smiles with the Premini victory, a clear example of how sport is also about learning, fun and teamwork. On the same day, the Mini A girls earned a well-deserved win, reaffirming their sporting growth and their ability to compete with confidence.
To close the weekend, Sènior B secured an important victory in the afternoon, rounding off a weekend full of positive results and reinforcing the team’s working approach.
From the club, we would like to congratulate all teams, coaches and families for their constant work, effort and commitment. Results like these reflect a sports project based on training, values and collective growth.

WEEKEND FOOTBALL RESULTS
An intense weekend for the CE Laietà football teams, with good results and valuable learning experiences across all levels.
Prebenjamín | CE Laietà 14 – 0 Escola Estel
A clear victory against a weaker opponent. The first two quarters were marked by an excess of individual dribbling, but the team improved significantly in the second half, successfully applying the one-twos and oriented controls practiced during training sessions. A very positive attitude from the five players, who finished the match happy and motivated.
Benjamín | Barça Escola 0 – 8 CE Laietà
A very strong performance from the whole team, played with intensity and commitment. High pressing throughout the match was key to controlling the game and achieving a very positive result. Great collective effort and excellent overall feelings.
Cadet | CE Laietà 2 – 2 Pere Verges
The match had to be ended with 13 minutes remaining due to a power outage affecting the field lights at the club. By mutual agreement with the opponent, the final result was set as a draw, a decision that made sense considering Pere Verges were clearly superior during the second half. A point that reflects the reality of the match and one of football’s unexpected situations.
Congratulations to the players and coaching staff for their work and attitude. We keep learning and competing every week.
LAST DAY TO REGISTER FOR THE SOCIAL TENNIS TOURNAMENT
Please remember that you have until today, 26/01, at 11:59 p.m. to register, and registration must be completed exclusively through the Isquad platform.
To take part in the tournament this year, it is essential to be registered on the Isquad platform. Otherwise, participation in the Social Tournament will not be possible.
Unlike other editions, manual registrations will not be accepted, as the platform does not offer this option.

OUTREACH AND GUIDANCE FOR YOUNG LAIETÀ MEMBERS: LEISURE EDUCATION TRAINING
At CE Laietà, we continue to invest in internal talent, training and the personal development of our young members. In this context, we would like to share and recommend a particularly interesting training opportunity for those who wish to start or consolidate a path in the educational and leisure sector.
There are currently several recognised training options to obtain the leisure monitor qualification, an official accreditation that allows work in holiday camps, leisure centres, sports camps and educational activities, combining values, responsibility and practical experience.
This training opens the door to various job opportunities within the club, such as Laiestiu, Laiesport, Christmas and Easter camps, as well as birthdays, special activities and events held throughout the year.
The club is looking for qualified internal talent: committed, trained individuals aligned with the values of CE Laietà, with a desire to grow and become involved in the club’s sports and educational projects.
If you are young, have training interests and would like to grow personally and professionally within the club environment, this could be a great opportunity.
