ORDINARY AND EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL ASSEMBLY
Last Thursday, the club’s Ordinary and Extraordinary General Assembly was held, with the participation of nearly seventy members.
As part of the ordinary assembly, the closing of the 2025 budget was unanimously approved, which presents a surplus of 360,000 euros, as well as the budget for the current year, which also foresees a positive result of 203,000 euros. It should be noted that, as a result of obtaining the declaration of public utility, these surpluses remain exempt from taxation.
The extraordinary assembly was then held, in which the dissolution of the club’s Foundation, created in 2007 as a fiscal management tool, was put to a vote. Given that the declaration of public utility currently grants the club the same tax benefits as foundations, its continuation was considered unnecessary. In addition, the coexistence of the two entities generated duplication of costs and operational difficulties. The proposal was also unanimously approved by those present.
Finally, and at the proposal of the Board of Directors, the former president Mr. Domingo Goenaga i Campmany was appointed honorary member, by acclamation, in recognition of his career and dedication to the club.
The development of the assemblies demonstrated the good climate, stability and social cohesion that characterize our beloved club.

THIS MAD THURSDAY THERE WILL BE NO DIRECTED ACTIVITIES IN THE AFTERNOON
The club informs all its members and users that this Friday, April 3, the facilities will be closed due to the Easter holiday. We also inform you that the directed activities in the afternoon are suspended.
During this day, none of the club’s services or spaces will be available for use. The activity will resume normally the next day, at the usual time.
Remember that on Maundy Thursday, April 2, the club will close at 8 p.m., for your convenience.

OUR PRESIDENT, JAUME RIERA, IS PROCLAIMED CHAMPION OF CATALONIA +70
The president of CE Laietà, Jaume Riera, has achieved a brilliant victory in the final of the Championship of Catalonia +70, imposing himself with authority over Joan Palomas, from the Sabadell Tennis Club, by a resounding 6/2 and 6/0.
Our president has once again demonstrated his commitment to sporting excellence. From the club, we would like to congratulate him on this well-deserved success, which fills us with pride and reinforces the sporting values that we represent.
CE LAIETÀ, HEADQUARTERS OF WOMEN PADEL OYSHO INTERNATIONAL 2026
CE Laietà will be one of the headquarters of Women Padel Oysho International 2026, an event that will bring together players from different countries in a great women’s padel event.
The tournament is part of a consolidated circuit at a national level, open to amateur players of all levels and with different competition categories.
This international event, which will be held from May 8 to 10, will take place simultaneously in several clubs in Barcelona, including ours.
