Table Tennis Social Championship

On Sunday, February 11, from 10 a.m., the Social Table Tennis Championship will be held in the club Pavilion. The preliminary phase will be in the morning and the final phase will take place in the afternoon.

This is a tournament ONLY for members over 10 years of age. Sign up HERE!!

Championship price:
5 euros: Registration
10 euros: Registration + sandwich + soft drink/beer + wild potatoes to share

Enjoy this tournament as a family that will have a second new competition table. This is a tournament that has always been very successful among our social mass. A guarantee of having a good time!!

Registrations for the 2024 Social Tennis Tournament are now open.

The tournament will start on February 10 and the finals will be played on the weekend of June 1 and 2.

Registration closes on February 6.

The categories are: men’s benjamin, juvenile, children’s, cadet and junior women’s and men’s.

In the case of absolutes and seniors, the categories are men’s absolute, +35, +45, +55 and +65 men.

As you know, you can sign up with your FCT user in this one ENLLAÇPrize distribution will take place at the tennis night dinner held in July.

Centenary Tennis Clubs

As you know, our club belongs to the Centenary Tennis Clubs institution, and our members have the possibility of doing Sports tourism.

In other words, if you are sightseeing or going on a business trip to a city where there is a club that belongs to the CTC you can go play there and take the opportunity to visit the club. Tour your favorite sport!

Notice from the tennis section
The RFET has removed the promotion of the first license that is valid for players who have never had a license.

These players can take advantage of and process the license, it is valid for 2 seasons and the price is €6. They have until the end of February to apply for the license. To register you must send an email to

Championship of Catalonia for padel teams

Registrations are now open to participate in the 2024 Catalan Championships for padel teams.

All members who wish to participate and have a valid federal license must notify direcciopadel@laieta.cat o bé a padel@laieta.cat indicating in the subject: REGISTRATION CHAMPIONSHIP OF CATALONIA FOR TEAMS + CATEGORY.Remember that these are tournaments in which the format is an elimination bracket and the composition of each day will be made up of 5 couples.

The indispensable requirements for participation are;

1) Absolute availability (exclusivity to participate in this championship), that is, not participating in another test that coincides in the same playing period as the Championship.
2) Have a valid license.
3) Play with the club’s equipment.

Remember that players who processed their license in 2023 through the Club and want to renew it in 2024 must notify the member service office or reception before the 20th of this January.

Non-communication implies NO RENEWAL.

Full of victories for our basketball teams

This weekend, only the 4 biggest teams in the basketball section were playing and all of them were able to take a win.

The first to achieve a Laietan victory this 2024 was Senior B, who gets two more points and remains among the top three.

Then, it was the turn of Junior A, where a good start set the pace for the team and all the players were able to score; with this victory they manage to leave the lowest parts of the classification.

On Sunday afternoon, Sots-21 played on our court, who were able to win after three consecutive defeats and thus remain second placed.

Finally, the long-awaited victory of Senior A arrived, after six days without winning, they have obtained two key points to continue to add up and move out of the relegation zone.

Congratulations to all the players and coaches for this great weekend of new competition.

Civics campaign in Laie

Our club wants to improve day by day and is experiencing changes and improvements in the facility. We want it to be a civic and pleasant place for all members of the club and that you all enjoy it as you deserve.

To do this, we want to remember some actions that, no matter how small, will be big for the conservation of our spaces.

Be civil and don’t smoke in non-permitted areas and help make ours a smoke-free club. According to Article 51, section i of the club’s Internal Regulations, smoking may only be done in the outdoor restaurant areas of our facility.

Success of the new Seville activity

On Monday, the sevillanas class began in the Directed Activities Room, an activity that brought together around forty members.

If you want to learn how to dance Sevillanas, you can continue to do so every Monday from 8 to 9 pm with the dancer Mercedes Bastard, who connected with the assembled public. Don’t miss a class with lots of art and get ready for the April Fair!
