The afternoon of CATALUNYA RÀDIO, AT LAIE! On Thursday, May 16, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., on the padel courts 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 will be held the Padel tournament of the program ‘LA TARDA DE CATALUNYA RÀDIO’ that will be held live at our facilities.
Two of our members will have the opportunity to participate and that is why if you want to be the players who represent the club you only need to have an average level of padel tennis and fill out this form. There will be a draw next Monday 13th.

THIS WEEKEND, COME TO THE POOL! Let’s start the pool season at the club!
Premiere of the pool is this Saturday, May 11! From then on, every weekend, as well as June. Do not worry because the temperature of the pool water will be 20 degrees. We remind you that you can bathe in neoprene.
So, you can enjoy it if you wish these weekends.
This Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., there will be a workshop about the AED (defibrillator) that, if you are interested, you can enjoy for free at the club. We believe that it can be very interesting to face emergency situations.
While the defibrillator is not available, it is important to ensure blood supply to the body, especially to avoid irreparable damage to the brain. For this, the 30 + 3 technique is used, a technique that will be explained in the workshop.
The defibrillator is used to treat sudden cardiac arrest, a potentially fatal condition in which the heart stops beating suddenly.
The defibrillator sends an electrical impulse to the heart, which helps restore normal heart rhythm and prevent death.
In times of urgency, it is very important to have this knowledge, and that is why the club thought that it may interest members.

CATALAN TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP +50
This Sunday, at 9 a.m., the +50 Catalan Tennis Championship will be played against the Sabadell Tennis Club.

SOCIAL DOUBLES TENNIS TOURNAMENT
The social doubles tournament will be held on Saturday, June 8. The tournament will be played during the morning and will end with the awards ceremony and a fraternity lunch. The format of the tournament will consist of an initial group phase and will end with a final phase. The minimum age to participate is 16 years. There will be 3 categories: female, male and mixed, there will only be the possibility of playing one category. The registration fee for the tournament is € 5 per person (lunch apart). The price of lunch is € 25 per person. You have time to register until Monday, June 3. To register you must do so by filling out the following form:
AFTERNOON TENNIS LESSONS AT THE CLUB
The heat returns and with it the desire to play tennis in the afternoons.
From June 25 to July 26, we offer classes for both children and adults. Due to the high demand, we have and that in some cases there are few places left, we want to give priority to our partners and school students. Therefore, club members will have priority to sign up until May 17 and school students until May 24. From that date, registration will be open to the public.
Afternoon school:
Age: from 4 to 18 years old
Familiarization with the environment, global game practice, technical-tactical fundamentals, coordination and competition. Program per week.

One of the most anticipated tournaments of the year arrives at the club!
From June 9 to 15, the social padel tournament will be held. Find a partner and sign up for a tournament with a great family and competitive atmosphere in our club. If you don’t have a partner, don’t worry. We’re looking for you!!

Registration deadline: Tuesday 04/06/2024
Format: one-week tournament between June 9 and June 15 (day of the finals). The first game will be on Sunday 9/06 throughout the day. On Saturday 15 in the afternoon there will be the awards ceremony and the closing party in the afternoon / night

PRELIMINARY PHASE OF THE SPANISH CHAMPIONSHIP
The teams that will represent the club in the preliminary phase of the Spanish Team Championship already have assigned schedules. The turn of the women’s team will be today, Thursday, May 9 at 8:45 p.m. The men’s team will be the turn of the men’s team on Saturday, May 11 at 10:45 a.m. The tournament will be held at the Tennis Club Badalona. 3X3 FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT AT THE CLUB

ON MAY 24, THE NIGHTS OF THE LAIE RETURN! Book Friday nights – you’ve got a date at the club!
On the terrace of the club, every Friday from May 24 to July 5, we will enjoy the best music and the best atmosphere with different proposals: rock, pop, versions, acoustic …
Also, our restaurant will adapt his gastronomic proposal to the Laie Nights to make it a round time!
We start on May 24 with Los Esminros and on May 31 with Paul Klason! Stay tuned because we will be reporting more dates and performances.
CARD GAMES AT THE CLUB Tuesday and Thursday, in the social lounge, we can find card games such as mus and bridge.
If you dare, just go down to the social rooms and you will find a group of partners with whom to share a good time playing these famous card games. Cheer up!
MEETING OF PADEL TENNIS MINORS
We celebrate again the meeting of minors and young people organized at C.E. Laietà. In this one, the youngest of the club will have a lot of fun playing matches of their category on our courts.

JUNE 1, BASKETBALL DAY On June 1, the Basketball Day will be celebrated in our club.
We can enjoy matches from Escoleta to Mini, 3×3 competition from Pre-Kindergarten to Veterans, Big Basket Triple Contest, Two Ball Contest with small basket and many surprises for the participating children.

CIVIC AWARENESS CAMPAIGN IN LAIE
Our club wants to improve day by day and is experiencing changes and improvements in the facility. We want it to be a civic and pleasant place for all members of the club and that everyone enjoys it as you deserve.
To do this, we want to recall some actions that, however small, will be great for the conservation of our spaces and for coexistence.
We found out that some members take the soapboxes from the men’s dressing room. Disciplinary action will be taken if we become aware of people who do not care for club material.
Be civic and take care of the facilities as if they were your own home. We are working to improve your experience. Help us take care of the club!
