CE LAIETÀ PRESENTS HOOP, THE NEW TECHNOLOGICAL EXPERIENCE FOR 3X3 BASKETBALL
Club Esportiu Laietà, the dean of Spanish basketball and the only club recognized in the Spanish Basketball Federation’s Hall of Fame, is once again at the forefront of sports by becoming the first club in Barcelona to integrate HOOP Streetball Community, a technological platform that transforms the basketball court into an intelligent environment with real-time data, continuous competition, and a digital experience.
The official presentation will take place this coming Wednesday, March 11th, at 12:00 PM at CE Laietà’s social basketball court, in an event that will feature former basketball player Jordi Villacampa, the Sports Councilor of the Barcelona City Council, David Escudé, and Mr. Josep Maria Rofes, first vice-president of the Catalan Basketball Federation.
With this initiative, CE Laietà reinforces its position as a space for sports innovation and reaffirms its commitment to the Les Corts district and the development of new sports experiences linked to technology.
Members who wish to attend are invited to the event, which will take place at the club’s social basketball court.
LAIETÀ BASKETBALL WEEKEND RESULTS
This weekend, the basketball teams of Club Esportiu Laietà competed once again with intensity and commitment across various courts, demonstrating once more the sporting spirit and constant work that characterizes the section. The matches played left good impressions, both for the level of play shown and for the attitude of the players throughout the day.
Regarding the most notable results, the Mini A team starred in a great match, showing good collective evolution and achieving a new victory that confirms the team’s growth throughout the season. The Mini B team also completed a very good performance, with solid teamwork that was rewarded with a well-deserved victory.
In the higher categories, the Senior B team played a very complete match, maintaining a good pace and great solidity throughout the confrontation, which allowed them to secure a deserved win. Meanwhile, the U-20 team demonstrated a high competitive level and a very positive attitude, also achieving a new triumph after a match with good play and intensity.
Beyond the results, the effort, dedication, and commitment of all players who defended the club’s colors during the weekend must be highlighted. In both victories and matches that did not end with the expected result, the attitude and team spirit continue to be one of the core values of our basketball section.
The club wishes to congratulate all teams for the work done and encourage them to continue working with the same enthusiasm and consistency to keep enjoying basketball and growing as athletes.
TEST RACKETS AVAILABLE AT THE CE LAIETÀ STORE
Club Esportiu Laietà offers its members a new service through the club store: the possibility of trying different racket models before deciding on a purchase.
This initiative allows players to test various options from renowned brands, with the aim of finding the racket that best suits their playing style, level, and feel on the court. Trying out equipment before buying is a very useful way to make a more informed decision and ensure that the equipment truly responds to the needs of each player.
Test rackets are available at the club store, where Giuseppe can inform you about the available models and the conditions for using them.
We encourage all interested members to stop by the store and ask for information about this service, which aims to facilitate access to the best sports equipment and improve the playing experience on the Laietà courts.
NEW EXTENSION OF HOURS FOR FOOT REFLEXOLOGY SERVICE AT CE LAIETÀ
Club Esportiu Laietà continues to expand its health and well-being services for its members. The foot reflexology service with naturopathic advice, led by Sara Reverté, now incorporates new afternoon hours, thus facilitating access to this treatment for all those members who, due to work or schedule reasons, could not attend during the morning.
Foot reflexology is a technique that helps balance the body by stimulating reflex points on the feet and can be especially beneficial for people with stress and accumulated tension, digestive difficulties, fluid retention, sleep disturbances, or discomfort derived from plantar fasciitis. This integrative approach combines reflexology with naturopathic advice to work on the global well-being of the body, mind, and emotions.
The service is available with special prices for members, at a cost of €38 per session (€45 for non-members), and includes a 10% discount on the first session.

This 2026, Club Esportiu Laietà once again bets on an active, creative, and energy-filled Easter with a new edition of the Laiesplai de Setmana Santa (Easter Youth Camp).
A renewed proposal so that children can live four intense days of movement, sport, and imagination, in a safe and educational environment. Each day will become a new scene to run, jump, play, create, and share. They will be the protagonists of their own movie.
What does Laiesplai propose?
The campus combines the sporting essence of the Club with recreational and creative activities:
Club Sports: tennis, padel, basketball, and indoor football, with a playful and non-competitive approach.
Cooperative games and activities adapted to each age group.
Creative workshops and dynamics inspired by the world of cinema.
Great novelty 2026: the swimming pool
This year, the pool is incorporated as a central space of the campus. There will be recreational pool sessions and introduction to swimming, where through play, confidence, safety, and basic skills in the water will be worked on. A long-awaited incorporation that expands the campus experience and reinforces the sporting character of the project.

Each day is designed for children to move, get involved, and enjoy, promoting values such as cooperation, inclusion, and coexistence. At Laiesplai, it’s not just about physical activity: team-building and memories are created.
