CATALAN ABSOLUTE TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP 2026 BEGINS AT CE LAIETÀ
Today, Monday, the Catalan Absolute Individual and Doubles Championship begins, one of the most outstanding competitions in Catalan tennis.
The tournament, which celebrates the 44th edition of the Joan Margets i Ferrer Trophy “In Memoriam”, will bring together some of the best male and female players in Catalonia for a week of top-level sport.
Organised by CE Laietà and the Catalan Tennis Federation, the event consolidates the Club as one of the leading venues in Catalan tennis.
We invite you to enjoy a week of great tennis and to support the protagonists of one of the most important events of the season.

COME TO THE INFORMATION MEETINGS FOR THE MOST FUN SUMMER CAMP AT CE LAIETÀ
Everything is ready to begin a new edition of Laiestiu, a summer full of sport, fun and unforgettable experiences.
Before the programmes begin, we invite you to the information meetings to learn all the details about Laiestiu Junior and Laiestiu Jove, as well as the coordination team, activities, outings and services.

This summer we are bringing back one of the most eagerly awaited activities: the overnight camp away from the Club.
The participants of Laiestiu Jove will go to Viladrau, to the Sagrat Cor Hostel, where they will enjoy an exclusive experience surrounded by nature, with special activities, night games, time together and many surprises.
A unique opportunity to strengthen friendships, gain independence and live an adventure that will surely be one of the most special moments of the summer.
At the end of each meeting, we will share a small snack with all attending families.

DOUBLE CHAMPIONSHIP FOR CE LAIETÀ TENNIS +65 AND +70
This weekend has been especially brilliant for tennis at Club Esportiu Laietà. The +65 and +70 teams have been crowned champions of the Catalan League, rounding off an excellent season.
The +65 team won the title after defeating Turó by a tight 2-1 scoreline, showing competitiveness, experience and team spirit until the very last point.
Meanwhile, the +70 team secured the championship with a convincing 3-0 victory against Vilanova, putting the perfect finishing touch on an extraordinary season.
From Club Esportiu Laietà, we would like to congratulate all the players, captains and everyone who has been part of these two teams for their dedication, commitment and example both on and off the courts.
Congratulations, champions. This double victory is a source of pride for all of Laietà.
TOURNAMENT WEEKEND IN LLORET
This weekend, our Mini A Girls, Mini B Girls, Mini A Boys and Mini B Boys teams took part in the Lloret Closing Tournament, enjoying a few days full of basketball, togetherness and great experiences.
We would like to congratulate all the players, as well as their families, for their attitude, effort and commitment throughout the tournament.
As for the results, we would like to highlight the excellent performance of our boys’ teams:

Beyond the results, we take away the values, the shared moments and the memories that these tournaments leave forever.
We would also like to give a very special thank-you to all the coaches and assistants, whose dedication, involvement and care make it possible for our boys and girls to live experiences that go far beyond sport. Thank you for accompanying them, educating them and helping them grow both on and off the court.

CE LAIETÀ FOOTBALL CLOSES THE SEASON WITH SMILES AND GRATITUDE
The CE Laietà football section has brought another season to a close, full of learning, effort and fun for the youngest members of the club.
The closing event came with the traditional 3×3 football tournament, a very special day in which the boys and girls enjoyed a morning full of matches, companionship and a great atmosphere. An unbeatable way to close the season doing what they love most: playing football and sharing experiences with their teammates.
This end of season has also been the moment to say goodbye to the section coordinator, Juancho, who is starting a new professional chapter.
From Club Esportiu Laietà, we would like to express our sincerest gratitude for his dedication, involvement and commitment over all these years. Beyond the sporting aspects, his work has been fundamental in the development of our young athletes, transmitting values as important as respect, effort, teamwork, responsibility and companionship.
Thank you for helping the section grow and for helping to develop not only footballers, but also people.
We wish you the very best of luck in this new stage and hope you will always keep fond memories of the Laietà family.

THE ENRIQUETA VILLAVECCHIA FOUNDATION CHOOSES OUR CLUB FOR ITS ANNUAL VOLUNTEER MEETING
The Enriqueta Villavecchia Foundation has chosen CE Laietà to hold its annual volunteer meeting, a very special event dedicated to recognising and sharing the work of all those people who, through their commitment and dedication, help improve the lives of children and young people with serious illnesses and their families.
The event was opened by the president of CE Laietà, Jaume Riera, who welcomed the attendees and highlighted that Laietà is a club that cares for and looks after people, emphasising its social vocation and its commitment to the community.
In this regard, he underlined the importance of hosting initiatives that go beyond the sporting sphere and help generate bonds, values and shared experiences.
For CE Laietà, it has been a true pleasure to host this meeting of the Enriqueta Villavecchia Foundation, a leading organisation that carries out essential work in accompanying and supporting children and young people with serious illnesses and their families.
We are very grateful for the trust placed in our club and delighted to have been part of such an enriching event, which brought together so many people committed to such an important cause.
CE LAIETÀ HOSTS THE SEASON FINALE OF CATALUNYA RÀDIO’S WOMEN’S FOOTBALL PODCAST, FEM FUTBOL
CE Laietà has had the privilege of hosting the season finale of Fem Futbol, the leading podcast dedicated to women’s football, led by Catalunya Ràdio journalist Sònia Gelmà.
After a season full of interviews, analysis and reflections on the present and future of women’s football, the Fem Futbol team chose our club’s facilities to celebrate this end-of-season gathering in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
For CE Laietà, it is a great satisfaction that projects that help give visibility, value and recognition to women’s sport choose our club as a meeting point. We fully share the values of sport, equal opportunities and the promotion of female talent, which are also part of our identity.
We would like to thank Sònia Gelmà and the entire Fem Futbol team for placing their trust in CE Laietà to celebrate this very special event.

MAGNO THE MENTALIST ARRIVES AT NITS DEL LAIE
Club Esportiu Laietà will host an evening full of mystery and surprise with the show by Magno, the Mentalist. Under the slogan “Where reality fades away”, attendees will be able to enjoy a unique experience in which the mind, intuition and the impossible will take centre stage.
The event will take place on Friday 12 June at 9.00 pm at the club’s facilities, in a proposal designed to surprise and captivate audiences of all ages.
An unmissable event for lovers of magic and mentalism in an incomparable setting such as CE Laietà.
SUCCESS OF THE FERIA DE ABRIL AT CE LAIETÀ
The last Nit del Laie was once again a great success with the celebration of our own Feria de Abril, an evening that filled the club with music, colour, dancing and a wonderful atmosphere.
Members and friends of the club enjoyed a magnificent night in which sevillanas and live music were the main attractions, turning the terrace into a meeting point full of energy and the desire to have a good time.
We would like to give a very special thank-you to Mercedes Bastard for her involvement and for leading the sevillanas group with such enthusiasm and professionalism, as well as to Òscar Vila, who helped keep the evening lively at all times and made everyone feel part of the celebration.
These evenings are another example of the social and family spirit that characterises CE Laietà and makes our club a space for togetherness, friendship and shared moments.
Thank you to everyone who took part. We are already looking forward to seeing each other again at the next Nit del Laietà.
THIS THURSDAY WE WILL DISCOVER THE FUTURE OF ENERGY WITH IVAN BÉNILAN
This Thursday, 11 June at 7.00 pm, the Pèrgola at CE Laietà will host an interesting talk on one of the most ambitious scientific projects in the world: ITER, the large international fusion reactor currently being built in France.
The talk will be given by our fellow member Ivan Bénilan, an engineer at Fusion for Energy, the European organisation responsible for Europe’s contribution to the ITER project.
In just 45 minutes, we will discover, in an informative and accessible way, what thermonuclear fusion is, why Barcelona plays an important role in this project and what challenges must be overcome to turn this technology into a source of energy for the future.
A unique opportunity to get closer to cutting-edge science with an expert and member of the Laietà family.

IF YOU WANT TO TRY PITCH AND PUTT, 13 JUNE IS THE DAY
CE Laietà is organising a family outing to Can Mascaró, in the town of Cervelló, on 13 June, just 20 minutes away by car. A day designed to enjoy sport and togetherness in an unbeatable setting, open to everyone and to all ages from 3 years old. The activity is also open to friends of members, even if they are not club members.
