Institutional visit of the mayor of Barcelona
Yesterday our club received a visit from the mayor of Barcelona, Mr. Jaume Collboni and the Councilor for Sports, Mr. David Escudé, as well as part of the Les Corts district council team.
The institutional event was attended on behalf of CE Laietà by the sports vice-president, Mr. Paco Díaz, the RRII member of the Board, Mr. Àlex Sala, and the club manager, Mr. Josep Manel Gurrrera.
The club opened its doors to all the residents of the neighborhood on the occasion of the opening of the Josep Munté gardens.

As you already know, the distribution of prizes will take place at the tennis night dinner held in July.
The tournament will start on February 10 and the finals will be played on the weekend of June 1 and 2.
The categories are: men’s benjamin, juvenile, children’s, cadet and junior women’s and men’s.
In the case of absolutes and seniors, the categories are men’s absolute, +35, +45, +55 and +65 men.

Veterans Championship of Catalonia for padel teams
The club’s veteran team manages to maintain the 1st category in the Catalan Championship for Veteran teams. Congratulations to the whole team! Go Laie!

10 wins out of 13 possible this basketball weekend
This weekend between all our teams we have a total of 10 victories in the 13 games that have been played.
The Mini Blanc was in charge of starting this new day in which they could not overcome the rival and lost. Then it was the Mini Fúcsia’s turn where despite playing a fair game they won. The last to play on Saturday morning at home, was the Pre-Infantile who won comfortably thanks to great collective work.
As visitors, the Women’s Premini returned with victory after two losing games. The Men’s Premini also won and there are already two. The Junior A who faced Santfeliuenc ended up winning after an extension forced by a triple by us with 5 seconds remaining, they are seventh after six consecutive victories.
In the afternoon, Cadet B played at the club and won after losing six games. Cadet A gets another win following the good pace of the last few weeks. Junior C could not overcome the opponent and lost.
On Sunday morning, at the home of their rivals, Senior B beat Santa Perpètua in a very tight match and they are still second in the standings. L’Infantil also wins thanks to great collective work.
To end the day, at home, the Junior B received Sant Joan Despí who they beat with a very good last quarter, they are ranked third.
Senior A could not beat Diagonal Mar at home in a game where we always went behind, this game breaks the good dynamics of the last three days.
