TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS THIS WEEKEND
This weekend, starting this Friday afternoon, Avinguda Sant Ramon will be closed to traffic as the Festa Major de Les Corts is being celebrated, and that is why we recommend you access the club by public transport or by bicycle, motorbike or scooter
On the other hand, on Sunday the 13th, the Running Race for cerebral palsy, organized by the FCPC, takes place in the morning.
A WELL-KNOWN AUDIOVISUAL PLATFORM WILL FILM THE SCENES OF A SUCCESSFUL SERIES AT CE LAIETÀ
We are pleased to inform you that our club has been chosen by a prestigious audiovisual platform to shoot a scene in a series that will be directed by a prestigious film director and will be released in a few months.
This prestigious production will bring the club considerable one-off income which helps to further improve our facility.
Next THURSDAY OCTOBER 17 IN THE AFTERNOON, we will have the filming team at the club and we will have several effects that we must inform and anticipate.
FILMING IN THE ACTIVITIES ROOM DIRECTED FROM 4 p.m. – therefore, ACTIVITIES FROM THIS TIME IN THE ROOM ARE CANCELED, BUT THERE WILL BE ACTIVITIES DIRECTED BY EUGENIO IN OTHER PLACES IN THE CLUB (WE WILL KEEP YOU INFORMED / FROM).
FILMING IN THE MEN’S DRESSING ROOM – FROM 6 PM YOU WILL NOT BE ACCESSED TO THE MEN’S DRESSING ROOM, THEREFORE, WE RECOMMEND YOU REMOVE ALL YOUR NECESSARY BELONGINGS TO COMPLETE YOUR SPORTS PRACTICE.
EXTERIOR FILMING – PARKING from 11.30 p.m. until 4.30 a.m. (THERE ARE NO AFFECTS FOR MEMBERS WHO WILL NOT BE THERE AS THE CLUB CLOSES AT 11 P.M.).
PERGOLA – From 5 to 10 p.m. private catering will be set up by members of the filming team
SOCIAL ROOM – From 4 p.m. until the end of filming, they will have the social room (TARRADELLAS LANGUAGE CLASSES WILL TAKE PLACE IN CLASSROOMS 1, 2 AND 3).
We position our club as one of the most emblematic of Barcelona. A filming team of around 70 people will be working in our facilities and we will try to affect your stay as little as possible. Filming will take place until the wee hours of the morning.
THIS SUNDAY, MARCHING FOR THE CELEBRAL PARALYSIS
This Sunday, October 13th, the solidarity race EN MARCHA FOR CEREBRAL PALSY organized by the Federation of Cerebral Palsy and the Pluridiscapacit of Catalonia (FEPCCAT) is being celebrated, in Avinguda Sant Ramon, in favor of the group of people with cerebral palsy and multiple disabilities.
It is an inclusive sporting event, where everyone, regardless of whether or not they have a disability, can participate under equal conditions.
We inform you that our club, in solidarity and with a vocation of service, will cede between 15 and 20 parking spaces to people with very reduced mobility who come by car from all over Catalonia, a fact of which we want to inform you because, all those if you can, come to the club on Sunday by public transport, bicycle, motorbike or similar, as there will be few parking spaces available until the race is over.
CE LAIETÀ PARTICIPATES IN THE MAJOR PARTY OF THE COURTS
The 2024 Festival of the Courts begins this week and CE Laietà will actively participate by offering a series of activities to enjoy with the whole family.
This year the Club joins this neighborhood tradition with two proposals:
FRIDAY OCTOBER 11 – SPORTS SCHOOLS from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Avinguda de Sant Ramon Nonat
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 12: YOGA IN THE STREET WITH CARLA OJEDA – 11 ha is the stage on Avinguda de Sant Ramon Nonat
It is not only a way to participate in the Festa Major to build the neighborhood and community, but also to contribute to physical activity and well-being.
We look forward to seeing you all next weekend to enjoy the sport together!

NEW BASKETBALL TECHNICAL PROGRAM
After a great start to the season, the new training and improvement program is coming, led by Josep Gusi, open to both our players and your family and friends.
This customized program aims to continue to enhance the technical skills of our players, offering a unique opportunity for development.
The sessions will take place every Sunday, from 10.30 am to 12 pm, with two options adapted to your needs:
OPTION 1: Individual or pairs – topics and sessions chosen on demand
OPTION 2: Groups (max. 6 players) – standardized program of 7 work blocks for fundamentals (5 sessions per block).

THE PUBLIDEP PADDLE TOURNAMENT, AT THE CLUB
The Publidep returns next week (from October 12 to 19) with a lot of Laietan participation. Remember that during this week there will be effects on the tracks, since in the afternoons they will be in full competition.

VETERANS +50 WILL COMPETE
THE CHAMPIONSHIP OF SPAIN IN SEVILLE
The Spanish Championship for veteran men’s teams +50 is back in Seville against CP Bernier.
The Laietan players, who will travel to Seville will be: R. Bosch, G. Teissone, J. Muñoz, J. Torras, J. Pere, and will be captained by Miquel Cornudella.
We wish this team the best of luck in the championship.

CIVILITY CAMPAIGN IN THE LAIE
Our club wants to improve every day and we continue to experience changes and improvements to the facility. We want it to be a civic and pleasant place for all members of the club and that you all enjoy it as you deserve.
