FILM DIRECTOR JORGE TORREGROSSA, A LUXURY VISIT TO THE CLUB
Last Thursday, our club had the honor of receiving the visit of the prestigious film director Jorge Torregrossa and his team, who chose our facilities to shoot his new film project.
We would like to thank our members for their patience and positive attitude despite the inconveniences that had to be imposed so the shooting could be successfully completed late into the night.
For this reason, we want to express our gratitude to all the Laietans, who, as always, rose to the occasion. We will keep working to position our club among the best. Thanks to you, we will achieve it.
THE LITTLE ONES WILL COMPETE IN THE MINI TENNIS BABY TOUR, SIGN UP YOUR CHILDREN!
On November 10th, the Club will host the Mini Tennis – Baby Tour, an event designed exclusively for the students of the C.E. Laietà school.
This tournament aims to promote tennis practice among the youngest categories and encourage sportsmanship and competition in a fun, family-friendly environment. It helps children create bonds with other players of their age while developing their skills.
The event will start at 10:00 a.m., with participants expected to arrive at 9:30 a.m., and will include boys and girls in the Be-Benjamí (2018-2019) and Pre-Benjamí (2015-2016-2017) categories.
In addition to ensuring fun and sports for all participants, the tournament will also award special trophies to the finalists and champions. Participation medals will be given to all players to recognize their effort and involvement, and each participant will receive a welcome gift upon arrival.
The registration fee is 15 euros for members and 20 euros for non-members.

LLUC GAIRALT, CATALONIA CHAMPION
During the week of October 13th to 20th, 2024, the Absolute Catalonia Championship was held at Club Júnior 1917. One of our students, Lluc Gairalt, and his partner Aleix Guillem, achieved a spectacular victory, becoming the champions of Catalonia in the 3rd category!
Congratulations, Lluc, we are very proud of you!
START OF THE U13 AND U17 LEAGUE AT THE CLUB
This past weekend, Club Esportiu Laietà kicked off the new youth league season with the debut of our U13 and U17 teams. Both teams competed for the first time representing the club and showed great effort and enthusiasm on the court.
Congratulations to the boys and girls, and we will keep working hard!
CURRENT NEWS ABOUT THE LAIE PÁDEL TEAMS
This past Sunday, the Veterans B Team of Club Esportiu Laietà achieved an important 3-0 victory against Padelcorb. The team secured the leadership and the championship of the 4th Catalan category in the Bcn/Interior division.
Additionally, our +40 Veterans Team has qualified for the final stage of the Spanish Championship. Our team has secured its place among the best and will compete in the final stage, which will be held at the Club de Tennis Monterols.

BOOK PRESENTATION ‘GLAUDIUS’ AT THE CLUB
On October 24th at 7:00 p.m., at the club pergola, the presentation of the third edition of the book GLAUDIUS, written by Robert Hernando, will take place, and it will be presented by the renowned journalist Ernest Riveras.
A book that speaks of struggle and courage. It will surely leave no one indifferent.
