ANTOINE GÓMEZ, RECOGNIZED BY THE CATALAN TENNIS FEDERATION FOR HIS SUCCESS IN 2025
The player Antoine Gomez has been distinguished in the recognition event organized by the Catalan Tennis Federation, which has honored the champions and finalists of the 2025 Catalan Championships. At the event he was accompanied by the Tennis Director of CE Laietà, Pere Icart, and his coach, Aitor Pérez-Hidalgo.
This event, which highlights the effort, perseverance and talent of Catalan athletes, has brought together some of the most outstanding names in tennis in the territory. Among them, Antoine Gomez has shone with his own light thanks to his excellent results throughout the season.
The recognition from the FCT consolidates the upward trajectory of Gomez, who continues to demonstrate great projection and commitment to the sport. Their presence at this ceremony not only reflects their sporting merits, but also their ability to compete at the highest level.

COLLABORATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN BASQUET LAIETÀ AND JAC SANTS
Last Thursday, CE Laietà, represented by our vice president, Paco Díaz, and JAC Sants, represented by its president, Albert Castells, formalized a collaboration agreement with the aim of establishing a strategic alliance between both entities.
This agreement will allow for joint and coordinated work in the design of common activities, as well as mutual support to respond to the sporting needs of each training stage of basketball. In addition, special emphasis is placed on the development of players and coaches, fostering an environment of shared growth.
JAC Sants is a historic club in the city of Barcelona, recognized both for the high competitive level of its basketball teams and for its outstanding work in sports training, based on values fully aligned with those of CE Laietà.
The club is convinced that this agreement will generate new opportunities and boost the growth of our club’s basketball section.
SPORTS PSYCHOLOGY WORKSHOP FOR THE CLUB’S PLAYERS AND FAMILIES
Last Thursday, the Laietà Sports Club hosted an interesting sports psychology workshop aimed at the club’s tennis players, with the aim of working on key aspects of mental performance on and off the court.
The session was presented by Pere Icart, project director, which gave way to the talk given by the Mental High Performance team, Toni Vila and Sebastián González, specialists in sports psychology applied to tennis and paddle tennis.
During the workshop, attendees were able to reflect on common situations in competition and training, as well as acquire practical tools to improve their performance and sports well-being.
The activity also included the participation of parents of players, who wanted to accompany their sons and daughters in this training experience, thus strengthening the link between sport, education and family.
With initiatives like this, the club continues to commit to comprehensive training for its athletes, incorporating values and resources that go beyond technique and physical preparation.
CE LAIETÀ WILL HOST THE PRESENTATION OF THE BOOK CONSTRUYENDO PUENTES BY CRISTIAN VILADOMS
This Tuesday, April 21st at 7:00 p.m., the Club Esportiu Laietà will be the setting for the presentation of the book Construyendo Puentes, by author Cristian Viladoms.
The event will take place at the club’s facilities and is open to all members, as well as anyone interested in personal development and leadership.
The presentation is an excellent opportunity to get to know the author firsthand, delve deeper into the concepts of the book and share an enriching time in a close and participatory environment.
Daniel Rossinés, Maria Zapatero and Ana Saviron will be special guests at the event and, as fellow members, will participate in the presentation together with the author of the book.

THIS SATURDAY, APRIL 25, THE TERRACE WILL BE TRANSFORMED INTO A SPACE OF MUSIC AND SOLIDARITY
Next Saturday, April 25, CE Laietà will experience a very special day in which the terrace will be transformed into a meeting point full of life, music and social commitment.
From 12 to 1 p.m., attendees will be able to enjoy a musical vermouth with a performance by the Farré Music School, which will provide the soundtrack to a morning designed to share, enjoy and contribute to a good cause.
The proposal will be completed with a solidarity ham cutting event by Centx100 Laietà, turning the experience into a perfect combination of gastronomy, atmosphere and solidarity.
This initiative, with the collaboration of the Vicente Ferrer Foundation, reaffirms the Club’s commitment to social values, offering an open and participatory activity for all members and visitors.
A different Saturday, where the terrace will be filled with music, smiles and solidarity.
