INFORMATION ABOUT SAINT JOHN’S EVE OPENING HOURS
We would like to inform you that this year the traditional Saint John’s Eve celebration at Club Esportiu Laietà will not take place due to the low number of reservations received.
As a result, on June 23rd the Club will operate as usual and its facilities will close at 12:00 a.m. (midnight).
Please also note that no group fitness classes will be held on the afternoon of June 23rd.
All other Club services will operate according to their regular schedules.
For safety reasons, we kindly ask members and guests not to use fireworks or pyrotechnics within the Club facilities. The public park adjacent to the Club may be used instead.
Thank you for your understanding, and we wish you a wonderful Saint John’s Eve celebration.
AN UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE FOR THE CE LAIETÀ TENNIS SCHOOL PLAYERS
The boys and girls of the CE Laietà Tennis School had the opportunity to enjoy a very special experience during the finals of the Catalan Absolute Singles and Doubles Championships, held at our facilities.
The young players took part as ball kids on the centre courts, sharing the stage with some of the best tennis players in Catalonia and experiencing the excitement of a major competition from up close.
Beyond their important role during the matches, this experience allowed them to gain first-hand insight into how a high-level tournament operates, learn values such as responsibility, commitment and respect, and feel like an active part of a top-level sporting event.
The Club would like to thank them for their enthusiasm and dedication, which contributed to the success of a wonderful morning of tennis at CE Laietà.
CE LAIETÀ LAUNCHES A NEW WOMEN’S SENIOR BASKETBALL TEAM
Women’s basketball continues to grow at Club Esportiu Laietà with the creation of a new Women’s Senior Team, an exciting project that reinforces the Club’s commitment to women’s sport and provides new opportunities for players who wish to continue enjoying basketball.
This Thursday at 8:00 p.m., the team will hold its first training session on the Club’s social court, marking the beginning of a new chapter filled with challenges, learning and excitement. Any female member interested in joining the team is welcome to attend this training session.
At CE Laietà, we warmly welcome all the players who are part of this new team and wish them a season full of success, teamwork and great basketball.

TOMORROW FRIDAY: LAIEKARAOKE AT THE LAIE!

Following the success of our concerts and the first Laienits events, a new, fun and lively activity is coming to the Club: LAIEKARAOKE!
On Friday, June 19th, the Club terrace will become a large stage where the real stars will be you. Whether you sing in the shower, never miss an 80s classic, love today’s biggest hits, or simply want to enjoy a fun evening with friends and family, this is your night.
This is not about singing perfectly. It’s about laughing, sharing, applauding, having fun and creating unforgettable memories with the Laietà family.
Step onto the stage, form an unlikely duet, gather your friends or surprise everyone with that song you know by heart. And if you’d rather stay in the audience, get ready to sing along, dance and have a fantastic time.
Music, fun, great atmosphere and plenty of surprises await you at one of the most special nights of the Laie Nights.
Places for performers are limited, so we recommend signing up as soon as possible.

PADEL FOR EVERYONE: MUCH MORE THAN SPORT
The Padel for Everyone programme has successfully concluded another season filled with learning, personal growth, inclusion and, above all, many shared emotions.
Throughout the season, participants enjoyed sport as a tool for personal development, social interaction and integration, once again demonstrating that padel is much more than a physical activity: it is a way of building relationships, promoting values and creating opportunities for everyone.
This project is also one of the finest expressions of CE Laietà’s social commitment. The Club sees sport as a tool for positive change and works to ensure that solidarity, inclusion and equal opportunities are part of everyday life.
We would like to thank all participants, families, coaches, volunteers and collaborators who make this initiative possible year after year.

CE LAIETÀ HOSTS A GATHERING OF CÀRITAS BARCELONA
Club Esportiu Laietà had the privilege of hosting a gathering organised by Càritas Barcelona, an organisation that works every day to support vulnerable people and help build a fairer and more caring society.
For our Club, it is a source of pride to welcome initiatives that share such important values as inclusion, social commitment and care for people—principles that are central to our understanding of sport and community life.
On this occasion, we would especially like to recognise our member Paco de Santiago, who actively collaborates with this wonderful cause and whose dedication and generosity embody the spirit of solidarity that defines our Club.
Actions such as these remind us that a sports club can be much more than a place to practise sport: it can also be a meeting point, a source of support and a commitment to the community.
Thank you to Càritas Barcelona for your trust and to all those who, like Paco de Santiago, work every day to make the world a little better.
END-OF-SEASON CELEBRATION FOR THE WOMEN’S INTERCLUBS AND MATCH BALL TENNIS TEAMS
The players from the CE Laietà Women’s Interclubs and Match Ball teams took part in the traditional end-of-season lunch held at the facilities of Ègara Tennis Club in Terrassa.
The event marked the conclusion of a season full of tennis, friendship and memorable moments shared on court, in a day characterised by a wonderful atmosphere and the celebration of women’s sport.
CE Laietà would like to congratulate all participants for their commitment, effort and team spirit throughout the season—values that help strengthen our tennis family day after day.
