THE POOL IS GETTING READY FOR THE CHANGE OF SEASON
With the arrival of autumn, at Laietà we are beginning the transition to the indoor pool season. Over the coming weeks, we will gradually restore the water temperature and adjust the opening of the dome depending on the weather conditions each day.
From 21 September, coinciding with the official end of summer, the dome will normally remain closed to ensure greater comfort for members, although it may be partially or fully opened whenever temperatures make it advisable.
We will continue working so that you can enjoy the pool in the best possible conditions all year round.
10 OCTOBER – MEMBERS’ DAY 2026
On Saturday, 10 October, CE Laietà will celebrate a new edition of Members’ Day, a very special event designed for everyone to enjoy the Club with their families and share a day of sport, fun, food and music.
Throughout the day, there will be sports, children’s and family activities for all ages. The celebration will end with a Magicury show, a concert by Big Mouthers and a DJ session until 2:00 a.m.
Programme
MORNING
10:30 to 11:30 a.m. · Zumba session with Alice on the terrace.
During the morning · TABLE TENNIS TOURNAMENT in the sports hall.

12:00 to 1:00 p.m. · CrossFit Masterclass with Carlos in the outdoor gym (16 places for members and pass holders). You can register HERE until all places are filled.
12:00 p.m. · Badge presentation ceremony at the pergola, recognising members who are celebrating 25, 50 and 75 years with the Club.
1:00 to 2:00 p.m. · Spinning session with Telmo, Cristian and Franco on the terrace (18 places for members and pass holders). You can register HERE until all places are filled.
AFTERNOON
Sports, children’s and family activities.
6:00 p.m. · Children’s workshop run by UBUNTU’S.
7:30 p.m. · Family show by Magicury (OPEN TO EVERYONE).
9:00 p.m. · Concert by Big Mouthers (OPEN TO EVERYONE).
11:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. · DJ session in the social lounge.

The CE Laietà Book Club Is Born
At Laietà, we want to continue promoting culture as one of the values that enriches the Club’s social life. That is why we are launching the Laietà Book Club, a new space for sharing books, ideas and great conversations. The initiative was already part of the new social activities that the Club plans to promote.
The idea is simple: we will choose a book, have around fifteen days to read it, and then meet at the Club to discuss it and share our thoughts. Whenever possible, we will also try to invite the author of the book to take part and make the experience even more enriching.
We are also looking for volunteer members who would like to help run the activity by suggesting books, moderating meetings or helping with organisation.

The Most Fun Afternoons Are Coming to CE Laietà with Ubuntu’s Family Zone!
Are you looking for an educational, creative and fun activity for your children? During the 2026-2027 school year, Ubuntu’s Family Zone is offering a space at CE Laietà where children do more than simply spend the afternoon: they learn, create, share, enjoy themselves and grow.
The programme includes activities adapted to different ages and educational stages:
- Learn & Play: practical English through games, songs and interactive activities.
- Creative Lab: art, imagination and creativity.
- Espacio Acompaña: academic support for primary and secondary school students.
- Creative Dance: movement, music and expression.
- Friday themed workshops: science, cooking, nature, art, Halloween, Christmas and many more surprises.
Activities take place from Monday to Thursday, from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m., in small groups and with early-years education professionals. Families can choose from different attendance options:
1 day per week: €32/month
2 days per week: €58/month
3 days per week: €81/month

MARC CLUA, AMONG THE TOP 24 PLAYERS IN CATALONIA IN HIS AGE GROUP
Marc has been selected as one of the 24 best players in Catalonia born in 2013 and will take part in the first training session of the pre-selection squad on Sunday, 20 September.
From everyone at CE Laietà, we would like to congratulate Marc on this well-deserved call-up, as well as his family, the coaching staff and the entire basketball section. This recognition is the result of his hard work, consistency and commitment to the sport.

CE Laietà Celebrates Coaches’ Day
On Saturday, CE Laietà held a very special event dedicated to the coaches of the basketball section, who play a fundamental role in our sporting and educational project.
Throughout the day, various activities, training sessions and workshops were held to share knowledge, experiences and tools related to youth basketball, communication and leadership.
From the Club, we would like to thank all our coaches for taking part and, above all, for their commitment, dedication and the important educational work they carry out every day with our players.
Thank you for helping them grow, both on and off the court!

Would you like to learn how to swim, improve your technique or feel more confident in the water? At CE Laietà, we are once again offering swimming courses for children and adults, adapted to all ages and ability levels.
Swimming is a complete, healthy and enjoyable activity that helps improve physical fitness, strengthen muscles and enjoy all the benefits of swimming in a welcoming, family-friendly environment.
