LAIETÀ PRIDE AT THE CATALONIAN VETERANS TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP

Our tennis players have brought us great joy at the Catalonian Veterans Tennis Championship. Roman Bosch has been crowned Catalonian champion in the +55 category, while Guillermo Cavanillas has finished runner-up in the +65 category.

Laietà’s success does not end there. Our fellow club member Guillermo Weishkal won the +45 consolation final, while Raimon Pou claimed victory in the +55 consolation final.

At CE Laietà, we would like to congratulate all the players on their achievements.

We are proud to see them continue to carry our club’s name to new heights.

THE SENIOR WOMEN’S TEAM KICKS OFF WITH A VICTORY AND FANTASTIC SUPPORT FROM THE CROWD

Yesterday, the CE Laietà sports hall hosted an afternoon to remember. Our Senior Women’s Team won their first match, cheered on by a large crowd that filled the stands with encouragement and enthusiasm.

The day also featured a particularly moving moment as we paid tribute to Rosa Bohiges and Ester Ibáñez, two players who were part of the club’s women’s team. Their presence allowed us to bring together the past and present of a story that, sixty years later, we continue to write together.

Congratulations to the Senior Panthers on their first victory, and thank you to everyone who came to the sports hall to support them.

CE LAIETÀ FEATURED IN THE TV3 SERIES ‘COM SI FOS AHIR’

Our club has made it onto TV3! Last Friday, one of the scenes from Com si fos ahir, filmed at CE Laietà during July, was broadcast.

And there will be even more opportunities to spot familiar corners of the club in the series. Tomorrow, Tuesday, September 29, and in the episode airing on Friday, October 2, new footage filmed at our facilities will be shown.

We are delighted to see Laietà featured in such a well-known production.

BRIDGE AND SOLIDARITY: JOIN THE CHARITY BRIDGE TOURNAMENT IN SUPPORT OF CÁRITAS

This Saturday, October 3, at 5:00 pm, CE Laietà will host a Charity Bridge Tournament in support of Cáritas Diocesana de Barcelona, organised by the Catalan Bridge Association in collaboration with the Club.

A wonderful opportunity to enjoy bridge and share an afternoon of solidarity while helping those who need it most. The tournament will be followed by the season’s trophy presentation ceremony.

The minimum participation fee is €15 per person. You can register using the QR code on the poster.

MEMBERS’ DAY 2026 IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER!!

Next Saturday, October 10, CE Laietà will celebrate another edition of Members’ Day, a very special occasion designed to bring the whole family together for a day of sport, entertainment, food and music.

Throughout the day, there will be sporting activities, children’s entertainment and family-friendly events for all ages. The celebrations will conclude with a performance by Magicury, a concert by Big Mouthers and a DJ session lasting until 2:00 am!
