THE 1st LAIETÀ SENIOR CUP OF TENNIS ARRIVES AT OUR COURTS
From October 20th to 26th, our club will host an international senior tennis event.
The Club Esportiu Laietà will welcome the 1st Laietà Senior Cup, a tournament included in the ITF World Tennis Masters Tour (MT100), bringing together players in the +30, +40, +50, +60 and +70 categories, both in singles and doubles.
This competition is a great opportunity to enjoy top-level tennis at our club, with the participation of national and international athletes who will compete on Laietà’s courts throughout the week.

LECTURE BY OUR FELLOW MEMBER IVAN BÉNILAN
Ivan Bénilan is an engineer and holds an Executive MBA from the International Space University.
He began his professional career in Cannes (France), at Thales Alenia Space, where he took part in highly relevant projects such as the space telescopes Herschel/Planck and the Spacebus and Iridium Next telecommunications satellites.
Since 2012, he has been working at Fusion for Energy, the European Joint Undertaking for ITER and the development of fusion energy, based in Barcelona, where he is dedicated to requirements management.
In addition to his passion for science and technology, Ivan also loves tennis and especially enjoys the environment at Club Laietà.

FRIDAY AND SATURDAY CE LAIETÀ HITS THE STREETS FOR THE 2025 LES CORTS FESTA MAJOR
As part of the Les Corts Festa Major, CE Laietà invites you this Saturday, October 11th at 10:30 am on Avenida Sant Ramon Nonat to join an open masterclass full of fun and energy with our instructor Clàudia Pardo.
Free activity, open to everyone — members and non-members — to enjoy sport, music, and good vibes outdoors.
In addition, on Friday, October 10th, our sports schools will take part in the Festa Major activities (5:30 pm – 8:00 pm), and on Sunday, October 12th, we will host the Cursa En Marxa for Cerebral Palsy, starting and finishing at Sant Ramon Nonat.

A WEEKEND FULL OF BASKETBALL AT THE CLUB
This weekend we have a packed schedule of games and emotions, with 12 Laietà teams representing our colors on the courts.
On Saturday morning, lots of action at home with the Premini, Mini A, Mini B boys, and Infantil B teams kicking off the day.
The Mini A boys will play on the social court, opening it for the first time this season — a great way to start the weekend!
In the afternoon, we continue with the Cadet A and Cadet B games, and to wrap up the day, the Junior team will put the finishing touch to a day full of basketball and energy in our pavilion.
Away from home, the Mini B girls, Infantil A, and U20 teams will look to gain confidence and keep growing as a team.
And on Sunday, the competition continues with the U25 and Senior games, bringing a spectacular close to an intense and exciting weekend.

LAIETÀ VIBRATES WITH THE PADELBONS MASTERS
Our club is more alive than ever, and this past weekend we had another great example with the celebration of the closing event of the PaDelsBons league — a group of members passionate about padel who, with competitive spirit and good humor, have been playing at the highest level for more than 10 years.
The day was enjoyed in an unbeatable atmosphere, full of joy, sportsmanship and camaraderie, once again showing that Laietà is much more than a club: it is a big family that shares sport, values and friendship.
Congratulations to all the participants and, especially, to the finalists and champions of this edition!

COMPREHENSIVE DISINFECTION OF CE LAIETÀ FACILITIES
Following the completion of improvement works in the Club’s locker rooms, we would like to inform all members that a thorough cleaning and a comprehensive disinfection have been carried out in both the men’s and women’s locker rooms.
This process was performed using certified, high-efficiency products, specifically designed for disinfection in sports and community environments, thus ensuring maximum safety and hygiene. All frequently touched surfaces (such as benches, lockers, showers, and taps) have been treated in accordance with current health and prevention protocols.
The aim is to ensure that all our members can enjoy the facilities with complete peace of mind and confidence, in a clean, healthy, and well-maintained environment down to the last detail.
