We inform you that tomorrow Friday, November 1 THERE WILL BE NO LIGHTS IN THE CLUB FROM 7 TO 11 AM.
This moment has been chosen, as it is a time of little influx of members.
You can:
Entering and exiting the car park. The barriers will be open
Enter the changing rooms. We recommend bringing your mobile phone to use as a flashlight
Play tennis and padel if the weather permits
Enter the two floors of the gym and use the machines that do not require electricity to operate. The doors will be open
You will not be able to:
Shower with hot water
Use cardio machines that run on electricity
Make coffee, have hot drinks or hot sandwiches

NEW FREE EXIT FROM THE PARKING
We inform you that taking advantage of the action of advancing the fences of the parking lot to facilitate the entry of trucks to the site, a system of free exit from the parking lot, similar to the one that exists, has been installed for the club’s pedestrian exit.
To make good use of this, we should slowly approach the barrier until the sensor detects the vehicle and opens it automatically without having to use any device.

MONITORING OF POOL REHABILITATION WORKS
It’s been almost a month since we started the renovation work on the pool. Despite some setbacks, the works are progressing and the pace will accelerate from now on, since the action taken in the parking lot by advancing the fences now allows the entry of large trucks towards the social track, in for which a ramp is being completed to save the unevenness of the truck overpass with respect to it.
This will allow the construction company to carry out new actions of greater scope and volume, such as larger earth movements or the installation of a crane on the social basketball court that will energize different areas of the work, among others news
We would like to take this opportunity to inform you that it is planned that an informative meeting will be convened for the members during the month of November, in which the different areas of the process carried out up to the present day of the rehabilitation project and the its future evolution. It must also serve to dispel any doubts that may exist about the project. We will soon inform you about the call for an information session.
THE RESTAURANT WILL HOST THE PRESENTATION OF THE BOOK BY OUR FRIEND JOAN ANTÓN-MELLÓN
Today, Thursday 31 October at 7pm, the presentation of our partner Joan Antón Mellón’s book ‘Fascist nostalgia for the future’ will take place in the club’s restaurant.
Also present will be Ismael Seijo, author, and the journalist of the newspaper ARA and specialist in Extreme Right, Roger Palós.
LIVE CASTAWEEN AT THE CLUB
If you are a chestnut, or Halloween, you have both options at the club this Thursday, October 31 with the activities we propose… don’t be afraid and… don’t miss it!
And in the afternoon, from 5.30 to 7.30 p.m., for the little ones, there will be the chestnut tree on the terrace, weather permitting, and it will deliver chestnuts to you on the club’s terrace!

NEW SERVICE: INDUSTRIAL SOCCER TRAINING
From next Tuesday, we open a new service at the CE Laietà Futsal School. These are individual training sessions for players and goalkeepers of all ages.
Participants will work individually and collectively on all the technical gestures and game situations that will allow them to take a step forward as players and within their teams (passes with dominant leg and non-dominant leg, with different foot surfaces, controls , oriented controls, offensive and defensive feints, shots, positioning on the court, movements with and without the ball, movements and stops with hands and feet by goalkeepers, etc.).
The technical training will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6.15 p.m. to 7.15 p.m. (there is the option of doing just one day and with a discount for players who are already part of a team in our Futsal School and do the technical training as a complementary activity).

THE CHRISTMAS LOTTERY AND THE GROSSA, NOW AT THE RECEPTION

This year, as a novelty, the sale will be by whole number, with a cost of €20. Payment can only be made in CASH.

CIVILITY CAMPAIGN IN THE LAIE
Our club wants to improve every day and we continue to experience changes and improvements in the facility. We want it to be a civic and pleasant place for all members of the club and that you all enjoy it as you deserve.
To do this, we want to remember some actions that, no matter how small, will be great for the conservation of our spaces and for coexistence.
Be civil and, if you are playing padel on courts 12 and 13 (FERRAN Court) while there is a children’s soccer match (especially on Fridays), do not enter the field and respect the match being played. Some referees have already warned us that they have to stop many shots due to the interference of athletes in the field.

REFORM OF WOMEN’S WARDROBE – AUGUST 2025
In accordance with the approval of the women’s locker room reform project approved at the Extraordinary General Assembly on July 10 this year, a survey was conducted for the 470 members over the age of 18. 144 responses were obtained, representing 30% of the universe of the survey, which represents a high participation.

From Club Esportiu Laietà we want to express our gratitude to all the members who have participated in the survey on the reform of women’s clothing that is planned to be carried out during August next year. Your opinions are essential to help us improve the services and facilities that the new changing rooms will offer and ensure that the club is a space that is more welcoming and adapted to your needs every day.
