THE NEW WATER AREA AT CE LAIETÀ IS NOW A REALITY
Club Esportiu Laietà is launching today one of its most anticipated new features: the new water area, a space designed for members to enjoy moments of relaxation, recovery, and well-being after sports activities.
With this new facility, the Club continues to advance in improving its premises and expands the services dedicated to health and rest. The space has been designed with all guarantees of safety, hygiene, and comfort, and is reserved exclusively for members over 18 years of age.
The water area includes:
A SPA pool
Two contrast pools, one with very cold water and another with very hot water
A steam room (hammam)
Two themed showers
To guarantee a comfortable and safe experience, the maximum capacity will be 12 people simultaneously, with a recommended usage time of 15 minutes per session.
Access to the men’s locker room, women’s locker room, and the SPA area will be through the Club’s entrance turnstiles.
For this reason, it will be essential to carry the Club access device to use these facilities.
The facility will be open from Monday to Saturday from 7:30 AM to 11:00 PM, and on Sundays and holidays from 7:30 AM to 9:30 PM.
To access, it will be mandatory to shower beforehand and wear a swimming cap, swimsuit, flip-flops, and a towel or bathrobe. In the steam room, it will be necessary to use a towel during the stay.
With the aim of preserving an environment of calm and safety, smoking, shouting, running, or performing activities that may involve risk are not allowed, nor is entry with electronic devices, bags, food, drinks in glass containers, or the use of body creams or oils.
At the same time, the Club continues to move forward in improving its spaces. The terraces on floors 1 and 2, connected to the guided activities room and the cardio room, are now enabled so that members can enjoy these new outdoor spaces. They can also be accessed via the external stairs.
In the coming weeks, information will also be provided about new activities to be developed there, thus expanding the training and well-being options within the Club.
With this new facility, CE Laietà completes its offer, raises the level of service, and reaffirms its commitment to health, well-being, and the quality of services, continuing to evolve to offer increasingly complete sports experiences to its members.
LAIESTORE BEGINS A NEW STAGE WITH GIUSEPPE ALTAVILLA AT THE HELM
The Laiestore of Club Esportiu Laietà begins a new stage with Giuseppe Altavilla, who from now on will be in charge of managing the store and will be its visible face within the Club.
On behalf of CE Laietà, we would like to welcome him and wish him great success in this new stage, in which Laiestore will continue to be a reference space for members to find products related to the Club.
As a novelty, the store is putting exclusive bathrobes for CE Laietà members on sale.
Adult bathrobes will be available in sizes S, M, L, and XL at a price of €30, while children’s models can be purchased in sizes 2/4, 6/8, and 10/12 for €20.
Members can choose between three colors: white, blue, and fuchsia.
With this new stage, Laiestore continues to grow with the aim of offering quality products and reinforcing the sense of belonging to the Club among all its members.
WE ARE EXPANDING THE CLUB’S GUIDED ACTIVITIES ROOM
Club Esportiu Laietà continues to advance in the improvement of its facilities and is expanding the guided activities room, an action that responds to a growing need among the Club’s members.
Until now, many of the classes recorded high occupancy and the room was often almost full. With this expansion, the Club gains more space and more comfort for participants, while opening the door to expanding the range of guided activities with a greater variety of proposals designed for all levels and interests.
In addition, this new space also allows for the incorporation of table tennis practice during off-peak hours, thus offering a new sports alternative for members during low-occupancy periods.
The expanded room is already operational as of today, and from the Club, we hope that all members can enjoy it to the fullest.
With this improvement, CE Laietà continues its commitment to offering increasingly complete, comfortable facilities adapted to the needs of its members.
CE LAIETÀ MEMBER, ANTÒNIA CARRÉ-PONS, WINS THE ÒMNIUM AWARD FOR BEST NOVEL OF THE YEAR
Club Esportiu Laietà member, Antònia Carré-Pons, has been awarded the Òmnium Prize for the best novel published in Catalan in 2025 for the work La gran família (Club Editor), one of the most prestigious literary recognitions in Catalan letters.
The award was presented during the Nit de les Lletres Catalanes, held in the Oval Room of the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya, in an event that annually recognizes the most outstanding works of literature in Catalan.
‘La gran família’ is a novel that explores with sensitivity and depth the relationship between two sisters throughout different stages of their lives: from childhood to maturity, passing through vital moments that separate them and bring them back together in the face of illness.
Upon receiving the award, Carré-Pons thanked the readers for their support and expressed that “this distinction brings her great happiness, capable —she said— of making one forget for a moment that we live in an imperfect world.” She also encouraged the jury for the next edition to continue moving towards a greater presence of works written by women among the finalists.
Antònia Carré-Pons has been a member of CE Laietà since 2008, and from the Club, we want to congratulate her on this great literary success, which highlights the talent and trajectory of a reference author within contemporary Catalan literature.
WALA, NEW COLLABORATOR OF CE LAIETÀ WITH ADIDAS EQUIPMENT STARTING NEXT SEASON
Club Esportiu Laietà takes an important step in its sports project with the agreement signed with WALA, which will become the Club’s new collaborator starting next season.
Thanks to this agreement, all official CE Laietà sports equipment will be from the prestigious ADIDAS brand, one of the world references in sports gear.
This new link will provide the Club’s teams, schools, and activities with a renewed image and high-quality material.
The agreement with WALA, a leading company in sports equipment distribution, represents a clear bet on continuing to professionalize and boost the sporting image of CE Laietà, as well as offering members and athletes top-level products.
With this new alliance, CE Laietà reinforces its commitment to sporting excellence and the constant improvement of services and resources for its athletes.

CE LAIETÀ +55 TENNIS TEAM IMPRESSES AND REMAINS IN THE ELITE OF SPANISH TENNIS
The CE Laietà +55 tennis team achieved a great victory this weekend by defeating R. Zaragoza C.T. 4 to 0, a triumph that confirms the team among the elite of Spanish tennis in its category.
The day was experienced with a magnificent atmosphere at the Club, in a very special morning of tennis, with a high level of play and a great sporting spirit on the courts.
With this victory, CE Laietà continues to demonstrate the quality and commitment of its teams, consolidating the Club as a reference also in veteran tennis.
GUILLERMO CAVANILLAS WINS THE ITF400 IN BADALONA IN THE +65 CATEGORY
CE Laietà player, Guillermo Cavanillas, has been proclaimed champion of the ITF400 in Badalona in the +65 category, in a high-level tournament within the international veteran circuit.
This triumph has a special value, as Cavanillas was returning to competition, demonstrating that he maintains an excellent level of play and competitive spirit.
From CE Laietà, we want to congratulate him on this great victory, which once again places the Club on the international veteran tennis map.
LAIETÀ BASKETBALL WEEKEND RESULTS
This weekend our teams competed again with great enthusiasm and effort on the court. We are very excited to highlight several victories that reflect the good work being done in training and the great commitment of the players.
The Mini B Boys team achieved a new victory after a very complete match, where the team showed desire, effort, and very good collective play.
The Infantil B team also added an important triumph in a very hard-worked match where the team knew how to maintain concentration and rhythm until the end.
Great weekend also for our Cadets A and B, who managed to win their respective matches showing a very good attitude on the court and great teamwork.
Finally, Senior B also celebrated a new victory, consolidating the team’s good form and showing character in a very closely contested match.
Congratulations to all teams for their effort and enthusiasm! We keep working and enjoying basketball together.
EASTER CAMP AT THE CLUB
Club Esportiu Laietà once again bets on an active, creative, and energy-filled Easter with a new edition of the Laiesplai de Setmana Santa (Easter Youth Camp).
A renewed proposal so that children can live four intense days of movement, sport, and imagination, in a safe and educational environment. Each day will become a new scene to run, jump, play, create, and share. They will be the protagonists of their own movie.
What does Laiesplai propose?
The campus combines the sporting essence of the Club with recreational and creative activities:
Great novelty 2026: the swimming pool
This year, the pool is incorporated as a central space of the campus. There will be recreational pool sessions and introduction to swimming, where through play, confidence, safety, and basic skills in the water will be worked on.
A long-awaited incorporation that expands the campus experience and reinforces the sporting character of the project.
More than a campus
Each day is designed for children to move, get involved, and enjoy, promoting values such as cooperation, inclusion, and coexistence. At Laiesplai, it’s not just about physical activity: team-building and memories are created.
